Goals

What are goals? There are several definitions including the one in the webster dictionary that defines goals as:

the end toward which effort is directed

a key word in this definition is the word effort. So many entrepreneurs set a goal and just think that it will happen, or only think about it once in a while but it takes effort! Daily effort! A favorite quote of mine is "Every action you take is either aimed at your goal or not" so when you are planning your day, you need to look at your goals and ask yourself: Is this action going to take me closer to my goal or not? With most network marketing and direct selling companies you need recruits, customers and sales! If you are performing tasks which do not take you towards those goals then really you should refocus. Now some things need to be done but many use things as excuses not to do the tasks that put them closer to their goals.

Also break down your goals. Everyone is different in how they like to do this but if you have a goal to achieve a trip for example and it is a year away then you need to break this down in quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily goals. You need to find the best system for yourself.
Goals are a target of your behavior, if you really want to achieve something then your daily behavior does have to mirror that which you want to achieve!

If you want an accountability partner or someone to help map out your goals I would love to help you!

Success is a Journey Not a Destination

How do you define Success? Is it by the amount of money you make? Is it a position you want to achieve? To everyone it means something different.

What does "Success is a Journey Not a Destination" really mean?

When you achieve that position or that monetary goal that you are aiming for, does that mean that you have achieved success so you can quit what you are doing? Of course not! Really that is when it really begins, just like a student at graduation, whether it is from high school or a university, the day of graduation isn't the successful part...the journey that got them there is why they graduated.  Also the work just begins, because it is after graduation you have to go on to either a university if just graduated from high school (or get a job) or a career if graduating from university!

I have achieved many successes in my life, but have never thought that "I had arrived"  whenever a goal was achieved. It is  then that there was accountability for either that position or "success" that had been attained.
What ever your definition of "success" is then you have to take action on a daily basis to achieve it! It does not happen over night and does not occur on it's own. You have to have dedication and a PASSION for what you believe in,
I believe in everyones God given ability to achieve any thing they set their mind to!!
